Types and scope of use of power cables for factory power line installation
The factory power line installation mainly includes overhead lines and cable lines. Among them, the cable line is the most widely used. The power cable can be divided into oil impregnated paper insulated lead package (or aluminum package) power cable, rubber insulated power cable and PVC plastic insulated power cable, and paper insulated oil-filled high-voltage cable.
1. Oil-impregnated paper insulated lead package (or aluminum package) power cable is mostly used for fixed laying on the underground permanent high-voltage power supply mainline. The used voltage is 35 kV and below.
2, rubber and plastic insulated power cables are usually used for voltages of 6 kV and below and low-voltage equipment that needs to be moved.
3. Paper insulated oil-filled high-voltage cable is used in voltages of 35 kV or above.
Cable circuit installation is generally laid underground. A steel wire or steel tape armor is used to withstand mechanical stress and tamper resistance to prevent mechanical damage. You should note that the armor of the steel strip cannot withstand too much pulling force, and you can only use the cable circuit installation in places where the horizontal laying and the axial pulling force are not large. You can use Wire-wrapped cables in vertical locations or where they are subject to tensile forces.
