l 、 Motor installation

1.1 Preparations before installation

Before unpacking the motor, check whether the packaging is intact and whether it is wet. After opening the cover, carefully remove the dust and rust layer from the motor. Next, carefully check for deformation and damage during transportation and whether the fasteners are loose. Or it is falling off, whether the rotor can rotate flexibly, whether the nameplate data meets the requirements, and measure the high voltage resistance with a 500VMQ meter. The insulation resistance should not be lower than 1MQ, otherwise, the winding should be dried, but the processing temperature should not exceed J20 ℃.

1.2 Installation site and foundation of the motor

The altitude of the installation site of the motor should not exceed 100 () m; the installation site of the general-purpose motor should be dry and clean, the surroundings of the motor should be well ventilated, and a certain distance from other equipment should be kept for inspection, monitoring, and cleaning. The ambient temperature is below 40 ° C, and it is necessary to prevent strong radiation; the installation foundation must be firm and sturdy, have a certain rigidity, and the installation surface should be flat to ensure the balanced operation of the motor.

I. 3 Wiring of the motor

1.3.1 The motor should be properly grounded. There is a grounding device in the lower right of the terminal box and the base's housing. If necessary, you can use the motor feet or flange fastening bolts to the ground to ensure the safe operation of the motor.

1.4 Connection of motor and mechanical load

1.4.1 Couplings can be used for the electric motor. The spur gear or belt is mechanically connected to the load. The fan end of the biaxial extension motor is only allowed to be driven by the coupling.

1.4.2 When using a coupling, the centerline of the motor shaft and the centerline of the load machine should overlap to prevent the motor from generating strong vibrations during the movement, coupling movement, and abnormal sounds. Therefore, the installation deviation of the device is: the allowable deviation of the 2-pole motor is 0.015mm, and the deviation of the 4, 6, and 8-pole motors is 0.04mm.

1.4.3 For vertical-mounted motors, shaft extensions are only allowed to be coupled with mechanical loads.

2.Starting of the motor

2.1 Inspection before starting the motor

2.1.1 You should check insulation resistance before starting a newly installed or deactivated motor for more than three months. The measured insulation resistance value is not less than 1MQ.

2.1.2 Check whether the fastening screws of the motor are tightened, whether the bearings are short of oil, whether the wiring of the motor meets the requirements, and whether the shell is reliably grounded or connected to zero.

2.1.3 Check whether the screws and pins of the coupling are tightened, whether the belt connection is good, whether the tightness is appropriate, whether the unit is rotating flexibly, whether there are jamming, movement, and abnormal sounds.

2.1.4 Check whether the rated current of the fuse meets the requirements and whether the installation is firm and reliable.

2.1.5 Check whether the wiring of the starting equipment is correct, whether the starting device is flexible, whether the contacts are in good contact, and whether the metal shell of the starting equipment is reliably grounded or connected to zero.

2.1.6 Check whether the three-phase power supply voltage is normal, whether the voltage is too high or too low, or whether the three-phase voltage is asymmetric.

2.1.7 You must completely solve any of the above problems, and you can start it only after confirming that the preparation work is correct.

2.2 Precautions when starting

2.2.1 The motor is allowed to start at a full or reduced voltage (using reactance or Y- △), but you should note that about 5-7 times the rated current when starting at full voltage, and the torque is proportional to the square of the voltage when starting at reduced voltage When the power grid capacity is insufficient, you should use a reduced voltage start. When the static load is quite large, you can use a full voltage start.

2.2.2 When the power supply phase sequences A, B, and C are with the terminal block poles Ul, V1, and w. When corresponding, the rotation of the motor is viewed clockwise from the spindle end.

2.2.3 Motors should generally have thermal protection devices. Adjust the settings of the protection devices based on the rated current of the motor.

2.2.4 After closing, if the motor does not turn, you should pull the brake quickly and decisively to avoid burning the motor.

2.2.5 After starting the motor, observe the transmission device, production machinery, and line voltage and current. If there is any abnormal phenomenon, stop the machine immediately to find out the fault and eliminate it before restarting the brake.

2.2.6 According to the technical requirements of the motor, limit the number of continuous starts of the motor. Generally,  the no-load continuous start does not exceed 3 times. This is because the motor runs for a long time to the hot state. After shutdown, it must not start more than 2 times.

2.2.7 When the same transformer powers several motors, they cannot be started simultaneously, and they should be started one by one from large to small.

3.Motor operation

3.1 During the operation of the motor, the surface should be kept clean, and dust fibers should not block the air inlet.

3.2 The deviation between the power supply frequency and the rated frequency shall not exceed 1%; the deviation between the power supply voltage and the rated voltage shall not exceed 5%.

3.3 The current of the motor must not exceed 10% of the rated current.

3.4 Continuously operated motors are not allowed to operate for long periods of overload.

3.5 When the motor is running without load or load, there should be no intermittent or abnormal sound or vibration.

3.6 When the motor's thermal protection device and short-circuit protection device continue to operate, check the cause of the failure (from the motor or overload or because the setting value of the protection device is too low), and put it into operation after eliminating the fault.

3.7 During the operation, use a thermometer to measure the temperature rise of the cabinet, which generally does not exceed 75 ° C.

3.8 It is necessary to ensure good lubrication during the operation of the motor bearing. Generally, the motor is operated at about 2 () 00H. That is, the lubrication finger should be supplemented or replaced (the closed bearing does not need to be replaced with grease during its service life). If the bearing is found to be overheating (generally, the temperature rise of the bearing should not exceed 95 ° C) or the grease deteriorates, you should replace the grease in time. When replacing, you should remove the old grease first, and then you should wash the oil of the bearing and bearing cover with gasoline

Grease, and then fill ZI-3 lithium base grease with 1/2 or 2 (4, 6, 8 poles) of the cavity between the inner and outer rings of the bearing.

3.9 When the bearing clearance reaches the following limit wear clearance value, you should replace the bearing in time. mm

3.10 Stop processing

When the following conditions are found during the operation of the motor, you should stop the machine immediately.

(1) An electric shock occurred.

(2) Smoke or ignition from the motor or starting device.

(3) The motor vibrates violently.

(4) The bearing becomes extremely hot.

(5) Motor shaft shifting, bore sweeping, sudden decrease in speed, and rapid temperature rise.

4.Storage and transportation of electric motors

4.1 The storage of the motor should be kept dry to avoid sudden changes in ambient temperature.

Dramatic change.

4.2 Motor storage should not be stacked too high so as not to affect ventilation and damage

Packaging of the blower motor.

4.3 you should prevent the motor from tilting during storage and transportation.
